Mamma and Little Mister were so lucky to have such a beautiful calm day out on the water! And then extra lucky to have found a small group of males vying for a single female on their migration south … their theatrics were great to watch.
The dolphins that followed the whales and then toyed with us around the boat were such a great bonus. Little Mister hadn’t seen any so close up before and I think it helped him forget his slight sea-sickness!
Out of the Blue Adventures were fantastic to deal with from the start. Super friendly, their marine biologist was very informative. And the snacks they provided were super tasty! We caught their complimentary bus to and from Byron down to their dock in Ballina - making it a super easy day out.
